• In Greek mythology, Melissa is a nymph and a priestess associated with bees and honey, often depicted as a nurse to the infant Zeus and later transformed into a bee herself. The name "Melissa" comes from the Greek word for "bee" (μέλισσα). She is also linked to the priestesses of Demeter, known as the Melissae, who were initiates of the goddess and were associated with the sacredness of bees and honey.

Though we do our best to portray the colors we see in the product with the naked eye, color may vary from the images shown. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
